Overview

D&T (Database & Technology) was set up in Milan in 1999 by a group of Oracle database administrators, and immediately established a strategic position in the sector of computing involved with VLDBs (Very Large Data Bases), data warehousing and business intelligence.

The company’s skills in the field of Oracle technology relate to Database, OWB, ODI, Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Integration. Oracle WLS, Exadata, Exalytics. Regarding Database Administration the company specialises in Data Guard, Tuning, Procedural and Row Replication, Hot Standby database, Oracle Cluster/RAC, Oracle Names, Multithreaded Server, Oracle Grid, remote DBA. D&T has often been responsible for pioneering the use of these both in Italy and abroad. Plus D&T has an extensive experience on PostgreSQL database.

Over the years, D&T has accompanied its consultancy, support and training services with the planning, development and creation of various products such as “Pandora” (an e-learning platform with related teaching content), “SeeCube” and “m00nring” (systems for monitoring computer systems and/or industrial automation), applications for security and for mobile phones. “OWB>ODI Converter” (an OWB to ODI conversion tool), “VCR4ODI” (an ODI versioning system), ODI11>ODI12 migration service.

In relation to OWB to ODI conversion tool, in a recent international webcast, the Oracle Corporation (USA) cited our “OWB>ODI Converter” as a unique product at world level in providing this type of function that works with any release of OWB and ODI.
