Our interoperability products enable schools, school systems, state departments of education and software suppliers to rapidly implement highly-scalable and reliable infrastructures without the ongoing worry of maintaining standards compliance and complicated code interface maintenance and the synchronization between the two. We have made our products generic enough to be implemented in any industry, and we are seeking resellers to help with advertising our product line to entities that would benefit from our interoperability products.

Your life is connected, but for one reason or another, your data isn’t available when and where you need it. “They” tend to say the sharing process is too complex, it takes too long to implement, or it is simply too expensive to put in place.

If your business is like many others, it is supported by one “line of business” (LOB) application and several other smaller applications that assist it. The LOB application is the heart of managing your business. In education, it is the Student Information System; in health care, it is the Patient Management System. Satellite applications may include a Human Resources System. In addition, education likely has a library, food services, transportation, special education or one of several other systems as satellite applications.
All these systems generate data – information that is needed to run the enterprise, communicate with outside organizations, and make strategic decisions.
In education, data collected in the Student Information System is not only used to schedule classes for students, but it is also sent to the state in order to receive vital operational funding. Data with errors in it can mean lost funding for a district. This same data could also play a role in school safety where critical information needs to get into the hands of authorities or counselors to allow them to avert potential problems before they happen.
Since 2001, Visual Software has been focused on providing configurable solutions to this problem: connecting existing applications so that they can share data in real time even though the applications themselves were never designed to share information at all.
We have application connectors for existing applications (ZIAgent™, Mimic™) as well as a message transfer system that manages message traffic and privacy to guarantee that every message gets delivered (ZIServer™). We are the configurable connection framework that securely makes all this happen.
